The Town of Alberton operates under a Commission / Executive form of government. This means we have a Town Council and a Mayor that are elected every four years. The Council elections are staggered, if possible. Each member of the Town's Administration receives a small stipend for their service.

The Alberton Town Council meets on the first Tuesday of the Month at 7 pm in the Community Center on Railroad Avenue.
